The Online Thought-Dump of Brittany Stevens

I recently read Great Expectations for the first time this year as required of my 4000-level Hamlet course. I also had to finish the entire novel in three days as scheduled by my professor. This particular edition is 544 pages long.

If this is how the educational system operates, why are instructors continuing to question why more and more people avoid literature?

It’s obvious, isn’t it? It is for me, and literature is the basis of my degree.

P.S. I didn’t finish the novel.
